For a possibly gentle extraction of a tooth from the alveolus pocket, it is necessary to remove the periodontal ligament for the direct separation of the Sharpey fibres with a slim and cutting instrument (periotome). The newly available TITANFLEX periotome is suitable for this purpose especially. The proven PEN form enables a very tactile work and in addition, the completely flexible and sharp working part adapts to the structure of the root surface in an optimized way.
